Find Your Adventure

Our Story

When we say Adventure is baked into our DNA, we truly mean it.

From a young age our founder Blake was out on adventures with his family, from playing in the rock pool's of La Perouse to summiting mount Kosciuszko.

This instilled a great love of adventure and the outdoors in him, coupled with his grandfather running the Kings tableland observatory in the blue mountains, laid the foundations for what would become Red Lantern Tours.

Starting in mid 2024 the business has had a strong foundation, specialising mostly in stargazing experiences at several locations around Sydney.

From the original three stargazing location's in 2024; Bobbin Head, Rouse hill Regional Park and Mount banks, Red Lantern has expanded its offering to another 5 locations, including 2 urban locations in Penrith and Parramatta.

It is our strong relationships with these local councils and National parks that allows us to offer you these amazing experiences.

In mid 2026 Red Lantern Tours launched their Bush and roadtrip offerings, including a week long Lightning ridge roadtrip and guided hikes in the blue mountains.

Picking the road less travelled is what we do, helping people explore the Newnes plateau, the Northern Opal fields and lesser know Blue Mountains tracks.

As our team scout new trails and locations, the Red Lantern Tours offering will continue to grow.

As we continue to grow and evolve our story will keep writing itself, we hope you will come along for the journey.
