Book NowIt was founded by Sarah Murray-Boyd, a Canberra-based outdoor activity facilitator, nature and forest therapy guide and event manager.
Latitude 55 runs activities for individuals, small groups and workplaces that get people outside and builds deep embodied connections to self and nature through mindfulness, nature meditation and somatic techniques.
Nature and forest therapy is a guided, intentional practice that invites you to slow down, engage your senses, and build a deeper connection with yourself and the natural world. It can help regulate the nervous system, improve mood, and support overall wellbeing. In these gentle sessions you will be led through a series of techniques such as mindful breathing, sensory awareness, intention setting and silent observation that encourage relaxation, presence and reflection.
Motivated by her own adventures outdoors and how they helped her to recover from debilitating burnout 5 years ago, Sarah is passionate about the power of time in nature to heal, connect, teach, and guide us.
Sarah is a qualified outdoor activity leader, including bushwalking, open water kayaking and challenge courses, and is an accredited nature and forest therapy guide. She has a Remote First Aid certificate, Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance and is licensed to operate in ACT Parks.
