Set up ticket types for an adventure booked on epyic, lock a ticket behind an access code, and choose when bookings close.
Ticket types are what Guests book: a standard spot, a member's spot, a spot with gear hire. They only apply to adventures booked On epyic. Adventures on your own booking site, and just-show-up adventures, don't have them.
In the editor's Tickets section, select Add ticket type. The first one is named General admission, and you can change it.
Each ticket type has:
Select Save ticket type to add it. A published adventure booked on epyic always needs at least one ticket type, so you can't remove the last one. Add another first, or unpublish the adventure. You can't unpublish while guests are booked on a date that hasn't ended, so cancel those dates first.
Sales close before start is how long before a date starts that this ticket type stops selling. Set a number and choose hours, days or weeks.
A date stays bookable until its last ticket type closes. Whatever you set, a date that has started never sells.
Sales close is separate from your cancellation policy. Sales close decides when someone can still book. The policy decides what they're owed if they change their mind.
For each date, the adventure page shows Bookings close with when its last ticket stops selling. A ticket whose own sales have closed stops being offered, the same way a sold-out one does, and once every ticket has closed the date reads Bookings closed.
To keep a ticket for a particular group, like club members or guides, turn on Require an access code. Enter a code of at least 8 characters and select Set code.
The ticket still shows on the adventure page, locked. Anyone who has your code enters it to unlock the ticket and books it as normal. An access code controls who can book a ticket. It doesn't change the price.
Setting a new code replaces the old one. Turning the switch off opens the ticket up to everyone.
Apply to join epyic and we'll set you up.
