Welcome to the new epyic, rebuilt with love.
Nature meditation is a mindfulness practice that uses the sights, sounds, and feelings of the outdoors to help you relax and focus on the present moment.
We will take a short walk into the reserve for the session. We will then sit together in nature and be guided through observation, and breathing practices, and a period of silent reflection. We will close with an optional reflection circle and a gentle walk back.
Suitable for both beginners and experienced meditators.
A comfortable yoga mat, outdoor blanket, or low camp chair. A reusable water bottle. Layers of clothing appropriate for the day's weather.
Sarah Murray-Boyd is a Canberra based outdoor activity facilitator and nature therapy guide. She is passionate about the power of time in nature to heal, connect, teach and guide us. Sarah is currently training with the Australian Centre for Meditation and Mindfulness.
