This three-hour session invites you to engage directly with the physical presence of the landscape, using your hands, feet, and focus to navigate rugged sandstone. Starting with a gentle warm-up to build confidence, our expert guides lead you toward routes specifically selected to challenge your abilities and movement. Whether you are touching rock for the first time or looking to refine your technique, you will experience the unique texture and spirit of these ancient cliffs in a safe, supportive environment that honours the deep history of this landscape.

Itinerary

Arrival & Briefing: Meet your guide at the Watchtower Car Park (Mt Zero Rd) for a safety induction and gear fitting.

The Approach: A short but steep walk via a stepped access trail leads us to the base of the climbing site.

The Warm-up: Engage with initial low-stakes movement to build trust with the rock and your equipment.

The Ascent: Spend the session on progressively challenging routes tailored to your skill level.

Session Conclusion: Gear pack-down and debrief at the cliff base before returning to the car park.

The Grampians (Gariwerd) is world-renowned for its high-quality sandstone, offering a tactile experience unlike any other.
