Alongside this immersive walk, you’ll witness the park’s premier icons: the powerful cascades of MacKenzie Falls and the sweeping, 360-degree panoramas of Reed Lookout. Complete with a unique bush tucker-themed morning tea and expert local commentary, this tour offers the perfect snapshot of the landscape’s spirit for those with a limited schedule.
Departure | Halls Gap Information Centre Meet your local guide and begin your ascent into the Wonderland Range on our private minibus. Your journey starts with expert commentary on the ancient geological forces and the cultural history of the Gariwerd landscape.
MacKenzie Falls (The Power of Water) Our first stop is the region’s most iconic waterfall. We take a guided walk to witness the raw power of MacKenzie Falls as it plunges over ancient rock. It’s a spectacular way to start the tour and perfect for morning photography.
Reed Lookout (Panoramic Vistas) Next, we head to arguably the best vehicle-accessible lookout in the national park for the "big reveal." From Reed Lookout, you’ll enjoy sweeping views across the Victoria Valley and the jagged Serra Range. Your guide will help identify the distant peaks and explain the significance of the broader landscape.
The Grand Canyon (Natural Immersion) We save the most immersive experience for last. Step into the Grand Canyon of the Grampians for a guided walk through a magnificent gorge. Surrounded by towering sandstone walls and unique rock formations, you’ll experience the "magic" of the park’s interior before we head back to town.
Return | Halls Gap A short drive brings us back to the village centre, leaving you perfectly positioned for lunch or your next adventure.
