Here’s the basic cycling tour itinerary:
- Day 1 Meet in Melbourne, transfer to Bass Coast Trail and ride this beautiful seaside rail trail. Overnight Loch.
- Day 2 Transfer to the start of the Great Southern Rail Trail and ride from Nyora to Meeniyan. Overnight
- Day 3 Ride from Meeniyan to Port Welshpool, transfer back to Meeniyan for overnight
- Day 4 Ride from Port Welshpool to Yarram and transfer to Melbourne for own overnight arrangements
- Day 5 Meet in central Melbourne for transfer to the Yarra Valley to ride the Lilydale to Warburton Rail Trail, overnight Warburton
- Day 6 Morning transfer to the start of the Great Victorian Rail Trail and ride to Bonnie Doon and overnight
- Day 7 Ride the Great Vic Rail Trail from Bonnie Doon to Alexandra, overnight Alexandra
- Day 8 Ride from Alexandra to Yea, overnight Yea
- Day 9 Ride from Yea to Tallarook to the end of the Great Vic Rail Trail and completion of the tour, onward travels.
