SUP Melbourne - Cruise Ship Social Paddle

Join us for a fun casual social paddle to visit the Seven Seas Navigator cruise ship docked at Station Pier.

📅 When: Monday 6th April 2026. Arrive at 7.30am to set up your board. Safety briefing at 8.00am sharp. On the water shortly after. Finish approx. 11.00am

Estimate distance is approx. 5-6km

📍 Meeting -Sandridge Beach, next to the Life Saving Club, The Boulevard Port Melbourne

Parking - Free parking at the Sandridge Beach car park or along The Boulevard.

Paddle details: Launching from the beach next to the Sandridge Life Saving Club. ( Please note it's not Sandringham beach) We’ll paddle towards Princess Pier, through the pylons & make our way towards Station Pier. There’ll we’ll get a close up view of the Seven Seas Navigator cruise ship. On the way back, we’ll paddle under Princess Pier & back to Sandridge Beach. Coffee catch up after the paddle at a local coffee shop.

Skill level: This one is for EVERYONE. Whether you are sitting, kneeling or confidently standing on your board, you’ll love this social paddle. Newbies & beginners are most welcome as this is a short casual paddle.

Safety: You must have a leg rope for this social paddle. Life jackets are optional, but always a good idea. Kids 11 years and under MUST have a life jacket on at all times.

What to bring:

• Your board
• Leg rope
• Paddle
• Fin
• Pump for inflatables
• Optional hat, sunscreen, water and a change of clothing.

This paddle will be weather dependent, so make sure you watch this event post for updates.
