Welcome to the new epyic, rebuilt with love.
Walking with camels, not too fast, not too slow. A meditative experience. Walking in creek beds is a great way to understand the geology of the Flinders Ranges!” – Cameron, May 2026
Step into one of Australia’s most extraordinary outback adventures on our all‑inclusive, small‑group Flinders Ranges Walk with Camels. Limited to just 12 guests, this carefully curated 9‑day journey invites you to slow down, immerse in ancient landscapes, and reconnect with nature and likeminded travellers at a wonderfully unhurried pace.
Your experience begins in Adelaide before travelling north to Blinman, where our experienced cameleers welcome you to a 7‑day camel‑supported trek through the Northern Flinders Ranges. With only a daypack to carry, you’re free to savour rugged gorges, ochre‑rich sunsets, and the deep quiet of Country while our gentle camels take care of the heavy lifting.
Our journey typically begins with a Welcome to Country from an Adnyamathanha elder. Days unfold along remote trails shaped over millions of years, while evenings bring campfire warmth, hearty meals, big‑sky stargazing, and restful nights in comfortable swags. This immersive rhythm – walk, breathe, connect – offers a rare opportunity to truly switch off and embrace outback life.
Led by knowledgeable local cameleers who share insights into ecology, geology, culture, and wildlife, this journey blends adventure, wellness, and a profound sense of place. A night at the iconic Blinman Hotel adds a touch of outback hospitality to your experience.
