Dive Travel Sipadan-Kapalai
Semporna, Malaysia
About this Adventure
Sipadan Island in Malaysia is one of the world’s top diving destinations, famous for its incredible biodiversity, dramatic 600‑meter wall dives, and, notably, its massive, resident populations of green and hawksbill turtles.
Sipadan is famous for massive schools of fish, spiraling barracudas, enormous green turtles and schooling reef sharks, and diving pristine coral walls. The amazing diversity around the islands also means you can see marine life big and small, frogfish, cuttlefish, octopus, nudibranchs, and crustaceans can easily be found at most sites too. What's a dive trip without a land activity, the final days of the trip will be spent visiting a nearby part of Malaysia, Sandakan, which is home to the Orangutan orphanage and Sunbear conservation centre. Sipidan is a protected marine park known for large pelagics like hammerhead sharks, reef sharks, and huge barracuda schools.
