Mind and Body · Mindfulness Walk & Optional Sauna
Kinglake, VIC
About this Adventure
There’s something about winter in the forest. The air is sharp, the light is soft, and the bush falls quiet. It’s the perfect time to slow right down.
Join me for Mind & Body — a morning that moves from stillness to restoration, deep in the Kinglake Ranges.
The Walk
We’ll begin with a slow, mindful two-hour walk through Andrews Hill, a beautiful and quieter section of Kinglake National Park. This isn’t about distance or pace — it’s about noticing. The sound of the canopy, the feel of the track underfoot, the way the forest resets something in us.
I’ve been guiding in these ranges for years, and I’m an accredited, Parks Victoria–licensed operator. No experience is needed — the walk is an easy grade and suitable for all levels of fitness. Families are welcome (teens and older).
The Sauna (optional)
Immediately after the walk, if you’d like to keep going, we head 2km north to Philip Lobley Wines for an hour of hot/cold therapy hosted by Redgum Saunas. Alternate between the sauna and a cold shower at your own leisure — a deeply restorative way to round out the morning.
To Finish (optional)
Stay on at the winery for a wine tasting and wood-fired pizza on site — highly recommended, though costs aren’t included.
