Welcome to the new epyic, rebuilt with love.
Hudson's people come from Torres Strait Islands, more specifically Thursday Island. Already in his young years, he is a qualified Horticulturalist with experience over the past 12 months with Indigenous plants. Hudson is also currently partaking in the Trust for Nature, Warreeen Beek Rangers course where he goes out onto country working alongside the Bunurong Land Council and Traditional Owners. Hudson is very passionate and eager to learn all things about his culture, especially Indigenous plants and all of our uses for them.
On our guided walks, our aim is to empower, educate and engage all different folks from different backgrounds and ages and bring them in close contact to the land.
On our walks we can show in a practical way, what the traditional people have known and used for everyday food, medicine and utensils from the bush, in an ancient time where no modern amenities were available. We explain and show the use of artefacts and different things that the land has to offer. We have been guiding our walks for groups of children and overseas visitors and it is great to see the look of amazement on their faces when learning about Indigenous Culture.
