WALK ITINERARY: Meet your guides in the foyer of the Mantra Hindmarsh Square Adelaide. Our Fleurieu Peninsula walking adventure begins with a scenic drive south from Adelaide to Cape Jervis, where the southern coastline opens dramatically before you. Today’s walk follows one of the most striking sections of the Heysen Trail, tracing rugged headlands, secluded beaches and windswept clifftops overlooking the Southern Ocean. As you walk, pass along Fishery Beach and beneath towering coastal cliffs, with constant ocean views and the sound of waves below. Highlights include the wild beauty of Blowhole Beach and the sweeping panorama from Cobbler Hill, where the coastline stretches endlessly in both directions. With flexible walking options available, everyone can enjoy this spectacular introduction to the Fleurieu Peninsula at a comfortable pace. At the conclusion of the walk, transfer to Middleton Beach and settle into your relaxed coastal accommodation. This evening, enjoy dinner at Blues Restaurant, located onsite at our Middleton Beach accommodation. WALK ITINERARY: Enjoy breakfast before we set out on our walk. Today is widely regarded as the hero walk of the Fleurieu Peninsula and showcases the region at its most diverse. From the trailhead at Tapanappa, the walk winds through native forest before opening to dramatic coastal lookouts. Pause at Pages Lookout to take in sweeping views across the coastline, including distant views towards Sellicks Beach, one of the Fleurieu’s most recognisable stretches of sand. Continuing along the trail, the landscape shifts between forested ridges and open headlands before descending towards the ocean. The walk concludes at the beautiful and secluded Tunkalilla Beach, where the meeting of land and sea creates a memorable finish to a rewarding day. After the walk, return to Middleton Beach where the evening is spent relaxing, enjoying a coastal dinner paired with local wines and sharing stories from another outstanding day on the trail.

We cruise past the landmark of Granite Island, encountering dramatic cliffs, offshore islands and up close views of Australian sea lions, long-nosed fur seals and abundant marine birdlife. The journey then turns inland to McLaren Vale, where the day concludes with a hosted wine tasting at Coriole Winery. Set among rolling vineyards, Coriole’s historic stone cottages and terraced gardens create a wonderfully intimate and character-filled setting. Here, you’ll enjoy thoughtfully crafted wines that reflect the region’s Mediterranean climate, paired with warm hospitality and a strong connection to place. It is a relaxed and fitting finale that celebrates South Australia’s renowned food and wine culture. From here, return to Adelaide, arriving in the early evening and marking the end of a beautifully varied walking, wildlife and wine experience.
