Meet your guide at Yarra Bend Park, the finish point, where you leave your vehicle. We then transfer to the start point in Alphington, Fairfield.

Learn basic kayaking tips and paddling techniques before setting off either on your own or with your expert guide on the calm waters of the Yarra River. As you kayak your way through an area once roamed by Aboriginal people, take in all the sights along the river, passing by historical boat houses, secluded riverside homes, many water birds and the 'Bat Zone' - a stretch of the river banks where the Eucalyptus trees are home to a colony of Grey-headed Flying-foxes.
