Scuba Dive - Hanging Gardens - 20-60M (Queenscliff)

The dive site

Very pretty spot on the southside of Nepean Wall near The Rip, just outside The Heads of Port Phillip on the Point Nepean side. The site features ledges forming a wall starting around 20 metres and going down to 60 metres. The reef ledges are covered in kelp that hangs over them, hence the name Hanging Gardens. Many crayfish and other sea creatures like: Banded wrasse, seven gill sharks and port jackson sharks. Divers have the opportunity to catch crayfish at this site. REMEMBER your fishing licence and cray tags and abide by all current fishing regulations if you intend to catch crays.
