Two Day Wave 1 Certification

A beginners Freediver course that will take you through a fun and relaxed experience, yet with a strong focus on making you a safe freediver. In this course, you will get all the basics of freediving and will become an autonomous freediver, able to explore the underwater world comfortably.

  • Swim 200m unassisted, non-stop in a pool setting​

Course Outcomes

• Pool Requirements:
• 90 second static breath hold
• 30 metre bifin
• Open Water Requirements
• CWTB (Constant Weight Bifins) & FIM  (Free Immersion) 12-20m
• CWTB (Constant Weight Bifins) Buddying 6-10m
• Rescue from 6-10m

Schedule

• Day 1: 9.00 - 16.00
• Day 2: either 8.00 or 13.00, 3 hour boat trip departing from Brunswick Head Marina
