Join the tribe and see what’s on outside.
epyic is a community platform that makes it easy to find group based outdoor adventures and the people who run them.
Across Australia, there is a lot happening outdoors. Walks, runs, paddles, dives, courses, trips, club meetups, races, retreats. Most of it is hard to find unless you already know where to look.
epyic exists to bring the outdoor community together in one place, connecting people who want to get outside with the Outdoor Adventure Operators who make those experiences possible.
What it is: A community platform for outdoor adventures
Who it’s for: Adventure Seekers and Adventure Operators
What you’ll find: Free community activities and paid experiences
Focus: Group based, guided, and Operator-led adventures
What matters: Quality, safety, people, and planet
epyic helps people find and keep doing outdoor activities with other people.
epyic is an outdoor adventure platform focused on guided, group based experiences rather than self guided activities.
It covers the full spectrum of outdoor experiences, including:
If it happens outdoors and is better with others, it belongs on epyic.
epyic is for people who want to:
Getting started is often the easy part. Keeping going is the hard part.
epyic is designed to help people stay active by making it easier to see what is on, follow Operators they trust, and keep showing up.
Operators are the heart of epyic.
This includes:
What matters most is quality, safety, and respect for people and planet.
Not everyone can be an Operator on epyic.
epyic exists to back the people who take us outside.
They deserve to be found, trusted, and to keep more of what they earn.
epyic brings everything together in one place.
Free and paid.
Beginner friendly and advanced.
Short sessions and multi day trips.
This is intentional.
Outdoor communities thrive when:
epyic supports all of this without fragmenting the community across dozens of websites, social posts, and message threads.
epyic is built around Operators, not the platform.
That means:
We keep costs low intentionally.
The goal is for Operators to thrive, not for the platform to extract value.
Operators run their activities in different ways. epyic supports that with intention.
More choice and more control leads to healthier outdoor businesses.
epyic is built around guided and organised experiences.
It is not a list of trails or places to go on your own.
Tools like Trail Hiking Australia already do that well.
epyic focuses on people led adventures and shared outdoor experiences.
epyic is social by design, without being intrusive.
If you want to join an Operator’s community, you can follow them.
No one else can see who you follow.
You stay in control of what is visible and to whom.
To be clear, epyic is not:
epyic is about creating one trusted home for the outdoor community.
epyic exists to do two things well:
If you are new to epyic, you can learn more about how it works for Adventure Seekers, or how Adventure Operators use epyic to grow their communities.
You do not have to do it alone.
